Parmis :

This cosmetic product is formulated with high-quality castor oil and containing Ricinoleic Hydroxamic Acid (RHA) at low concentration (0.1–0.5%). Castor oil naturally derived ingredient widely used in skin-care formulations. Its smooth, lightweight texture spreads easily across the skin, helping to enhance skin softness and improve overall skin appearance. With regular use, the skin feels more supple, smooth, and comfortably nourished.

Castor oil is valued for its moisturizing and protective properties. In this formulation, it helps support the skin’s natural moisture balance and protects against dryness caused by everyday environmental exposure such as wind and sunlight. The product forms a light, breathable layer on the skin, contributing to improved skin texture and a soft, flexible feel without heaviness.

Designed for daily cosmetic use, this product also helps protect the skin from external factors, including ultraviolet exposure that can contribute to dryness and loss of radiance. It supports healthier-looking skin by maintaining hydration, enhancing smoothness, and promoting a well-cared-for appearance, leaving the skin comfortable, soft, and refreshed.

Castor Oil :

Castor oil is a pale yellow, thick, odorless vegetable oil extracted from castor seeds that are native plants of India. From a historical point of view, castor oil has been as a Galenic medicine for some diseases.

Castor oil has anti-inflammatory effects, it is used traditionally for arthritis, muscle pain and joint stiffness.

It also has antimicrobial & antifungal properties, it shows activity against certain bacteria and fungi (including candida species) is used in skin infections, fungal foot conditions and minor wounds.

Furthermore it has skin & wound healing properties, it promotes moisture retention and enhances skin barrier repair, and it is used for dry skin, cracked heels, minor cuts, burns (minor) and encourages tissue regeneration and reduces scarring.

Ricinoleo hydroxamic acid (RHA) :

Ricinoleo hydroxamic acid is a hydroxamic acid derivative of ricinoleic acid, the main fatty acid found in castor oil. It’s mostly of interest in chemistry, biochemistry, and materials science.

RHA is a chemically active compound that has demonstrated antioxidant,  and cell-growth inhibitory effects in preliminary preclinical (in vitro) studies.

The proposed mechanism of action includes:

  • Reduction of cellular oxidative stress
  • Inhibition of selected microorganisms under laboratory conditions
  • Potential cellular protective effects in non-human experimental models

The development strategy follows a staged approach:

  1. Initial market entry as a skin-care product
  2. Long-term regulatory pathway evaluation for potential therapeutic applications

All current findings are preclinical and subject to further validation and regulatory review.
